2008 Summer Concerts

“All That’s Golden”
Celebrating Golden’s 150th Anniversary

Enjoy Free Summer Concerts of Pops and Light Classical Music 
Presented by the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra

The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra begins its 56th consecutive season with a celebration of free summer concerts in the parks of Jefferson County.

The symphony will perform selections from classical and modern musical favorites Including Symphony No. 9 by Dvořák, Prairie Night And Celebration by Copland, Piccadilly Polka and Scottish Overture by Ackerman, the Polka from the Bartered Bride by Smetana, The Shadow of Your Smile, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore and others.

The Vocal Quartet “Infinity” will join the Jefferson Symphony to perform Somethings Gotta Give, Apple Blossom Time, Mr. Sandman and the Star Spangled Banner

Concerts at the following Jefferson County locations are FREE, thanks to partial funding from the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District as well as sponsorship by the Cities of Golden and Wheat Ridge, Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, and other organizations.
