Max Ripple
Trombone

Max Ripple, 20, grew up in Elizabeth, Colorado, and attended Elizabeth High School. In the fall of 2006 he entered the University of Colorado at Boulder on a full tuition scholarship majoring in trombone performance. Max plays in his school’s symphonic band and orchestra. Over the summer of 2007 he played for the Emerald City Opera Company (Steamboat Springs, CO). Currently he is studying with Dr. William Stanley at the University of Colorado. Prior to that, his teacher was Jeff Young, with whom he studied from 2000 to 2006. He is performed Lars Erik Larsson’s Concertino, Opus 45 no. 7.
